As the nation's biggest airline in fleet size and passengers carried, Air Canada is the flagship brand in Canada. The carrier with a large fleet of 189 aircraft has access to 207 destinations around the world. Headquarters located in Montreal, Quebec, the carrier has four bases, the largest of which is Toronto Pearson International Airport. It is indeed a founding member of the Star Alliance.

Travel Class

Signature Class: The Signature Class cabin is accessible on all Air Canada wide-body aircraft. There are two forms of the Signature Class, the Executive Pod and the Classic Pod. The packages include on-demand audio-video, noise-cancelling headphones, free meals and beverages. The seats in the Executive Pod are convertible into a flat bed with a 6ft 7inch bench angle. Classic Pod seats can also be converted to a flat bed, but with a 6ft 3-inch seat angle.

Business Class: : Business Class cabin is the luxury option of Air Canada. The seating in this cabin are designed as 2-2 seats with 124-degree recline and 21-inch depth. Complimentary meals and beverages are available to travellers in this cabin together with a wide variety of in-flight entertainment options.

Premium Economy Class: superior reclining seats relative to the economy class. In-flight multimedia provides on-demand personal audio and music video. Free meals and drinks are also open.

Economy Class: The Economy Class cabin is available on all Air Canada aircraft. All necessary in-flight services, such as entertainment, are available to Economy travellers. Welcome meals and drinks are served on all international flights outside of North America. Meals and alcoholic drinks must be ordered by Air Canada Bistro on flights throughout North America, Canada and the Caribbean Islands.

Check-In

Online Check-in: This process helps you to check-in on the airline's official website 24 hours before departure time. You will print your boarding pass upon completion of the check-in. You're going to need to tag your luggage at the airport.

You can also log in on your cell phone using the Android or iPhone applications. Check-in is open 24 hours before departure time. You can get your boarding pass on your phone via e-mail or SMS or print it at the airport desk.

Air Canada Offline or Airport Check-in offers check-in kiosk and check-in desk at the airport. Agents of the airline will support you with this option.

Baggage Policy

Carry-on Allowance: Passengers are entitled to take a carry-on suitcase with a personal object, such as a laptop bag or a handbag. The height of the carrying bag should not be more than 55 x 23 x 40 cm and the personal bag should not be more than 33 x 16 x 43 cm. The bulky carry-on bag will be checked at the airport.

Checked-baggage Allowance: The amount of checked bags in the cabin is required by Air Canada, depending on the direction. The height of the checked bag should be no more than 292 cm (L+W+H) and the weight allowance should be no more than 32 kg.
